Extremely low mintage of only 750 coins adds collectibility to this rare bi-metal wedge-tailed eagle coin. Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1/2 oz of 999.99% pure gold and 1/2 oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality. Contains 1/2 oz 999.9 fine Gold, and 1/2 oz of 999.9 Fine Silver. Encapsulation by NGC guarantees and protects the condition of the coin. Obverse: Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, each coin depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination on its obverse. Reverse: The coin's pure gold centrepiece depicts an impressive Wedge-tailed Eagle perching on a tree branch. The pure silver border includes the inscription AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE, the 2016 year-date and The Perth Mint's'P' mint mark. For this design, The Perth Mint commissioned American sculptor and engraver, John M. Mercanti, the 12th Chief Engraver of the U.
