The reverse of the coin features a kangaroo surrounded by the inscriptions " THE AUSTRALIAN NUGGET " as well as the weight, purity, and the 1998 year-date. The obverse of the coin features the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with 50 DOLLARS denomination. The capsuled coin and nugget in display pod are housed in a black display case with clear lid. This set comes in a black box and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
