The reverse of the coin includes the image of the criminal Ned Kelly. He is wearing his typical uniform: a long coat, trousers and a shirt his home-made armor which was so thick that it was impossible for bullets to go through it. He was captured when police officers realized his legs were not protected.

The man is also wearing a mask made of the same material used for the armor production. He is holding a gun in his right hand. On the left side, there is the inscription Ned Kelly.

The obverse of this coin includes the image of Queen Elizabeth II together with the place and date of issue. There is also the legal tender value of 100 dollars. Each of the coins is delivered in a beauty box. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
