Not only is the dragon the only mythical creature in the Chinese zodiac, it is also one of the most popular, and this coin has a mintage of just 30,000 coins.

Each coin is packaged in a plastic capsule. Obverse: Features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination. Reverse: Shows a traditional Chinese dragon, a long, scaled, serpentine creature with a "pearl of wisdom", designed by Tony Dean.
