Boulder Opal is a unique and beautiful opal found in Queensland, Australia. It is easily identifiable because it is a mixture of ironstone and opal either in a matrix or layered. Every stone is unique and they are arguably the most affordable opal available. The stone was designed as a pendant set in 18K white gold(75% solid gold), producing a truly one of a kind piece of natural Australian opal jewellery. I used iphone 6 and Canon camera to take the photos in our yard at about 17:0018:00 when it was an early spring sunny day(it is still very cold in Melbourne, because I had to look after my store in shopping center, so it is a little late to take photos everyday after closing the store). So the photos look dim. I never did any photo enhance. So, I can assure that the necklace is much nicer than the pictures! (Measured at the longest points). Opal stone always plays colors when under different light source or seen from different directions. 18K white gold(75% gold). As the size was measured just by hands, there might be a little difference. Please understand the opal stone plays color and the opal is 100% natural and it is quite different to exactly describe it just by some photos.
